Founded by Sri V N Ramachandran, Premier Group has been a prominent, world-class Textile firm since the time of its inception. We, at Premier Mills, manufacture fabric of exemplary quality and deal in producing 100% cotton yarn, and 100% polyester yarn.

With the state-of-the-art technology that we have, we are the industry leaders in spinning, weaving, and wet processing. Among other things, we make voile fabrics, dhotis, and bottom-weight fabrics, like no one else does!

Premier Mills was founded in 1945, flush in the middle of the Textile boom. Four years later, when the nation was in its nascent stages of independence, we began manufacturing. SPG Production began with 6,000 spindles then. This was in Udumalpet, and now, in 2021, production goes on but with the aid of 385,000 spindles. It is not an overestimation to say that we have one of the best reputations in the textile industry.

The Premier Group has been on an upward curve ever since its founding. Our second mill began production in 1957, and so on, during the mid-1980s, witnessed the birth of Coimbatore Polytex Pvt Ltd (CPT), and a little later in 2003, Prima Products (Prima) Pvt Ltd. Premier Mills has continued to have exponential growth since its founding, but the values we hold dear, haven’t changed a bit in all these years. Premier Mills is an industry leader in the Textile realm, and our success can be attributed to our values: Speed Penchant for experimenting Customer Centricity Accountability
